  • Additionally, place the router in a ventilated and spacious area and keep it away from direct sunlight.
  • Then, make sure you have all the required tools for the router setup.
  • Next, remove and lift away the modem door, covering the router’s SIM card slots.
  • Then, insert the SIM card into the SIM slot 1 and make sure you hear the click when it is placed.
  • You can also place the second SIM card, if you want.
  • Similarly, slide the modem into its slot and confirm that the USB plug is facing the Cradlepoint logo.

Troubleshooting Common Cradlepoint E3000 Setup Issues

Sometimes, the Cradlepoint E3000 router takes more time to connect to the internet. But, if it takes longer than 5 minutes, then you must connect your device to the local UI of your router to configure the device settings. Moreover, there can be several scenarios, such as “no internet”, “device offline”, or “intermittent internet connectivity” issues, in which your device needs troubleshooting. Let’s walk through it step-by-step:

  • First of all, make sure your modem is working correctly and broadcasting strong wifi signals.
  • You can connect your router to the modem via Ethernet cable or wireless connection.
  • If you are unable to connect your device to the modem, consult with your internet provider or the modem manufacturer.
  • Most importantly, ensure that your Netcloud software is up-to-date. Otherwise, log in to the NetCloud dashboard to check the updates.
  • Next, check the signal strength and make sure your modem is working correctly.
  • Use an updated and compatible web browser for logging into the router’s interface.
  • Additionally, cross-verify the login credentials and make sure all the entries are correct.
  • Moreover, ensure a sufficient power supply and use the compatible power sources.
  • Next, check that the SIM card and modem are properly placed.
  • If any of the modems or SIMs are not working correctly, replace them.
  • Restart your modem and router to fix these internet connectivity issues.
  • Use a different IP address for different devices on the Cradlepoint network.
  • If none of these solutions work, reset your modem or router.
